Halter is coming to NSW!

Introducing a new era for New South Wales farmers

The NSW Government recently announced that virtual fencing technology will be available to farmers in NSW in 2025! We are thrilled with this announcement from the government, and excited to soon be serving farmers in NSW.

This marks a significant victory for New South Wales farmers who will soon be able to use virtual fencing technology to boost farm productivity.

Why Halter?

Halter is more than just virtual fencing - it’s the leading operating system for pasture-based farming. The system helps farmers:

  • Increase productivity by increasing pasture utilisation with virtual fencing and herding
  • Significantly reduce labour by automating routine jobs like fencing and shifting animals
  • Care for their animals better with continuous behaviour and location monitoring, and health and fertility alerts, and
  • Be set up to be more resilient and flexible to natural disasters like fires and floods

What’s next for NSW?

Halter will be available to farmers in NSW in 2025. We'll be working closely with the government to ensure a smooth rollout once this technology is made available.
