Halter is growing fast. While we currently support New Zealand, Australia, and the US, you can still learn more about what we do worldwide.

The Ranch Management Resource Initiative

We've teamed up with some of the best educators and consultants in grazing management, soil health, and ranch economics to help you get even more out of your operation.

These partners run proven programs, schools, and consultations, and now, as a Halter rancher, you can access them with partial funding from us.

Tools and Knowledge

Because good grazing doesn’t teach itself

Halter changes how you move and manage cattle, but the real wins come when you pair that with solid grazing knowledge and strong business planning.

We've seen it firsthand: the ranchers who get the most out of Halter are the ones who keep learning and refining their approach.

That's why we're excited to launch the Ranch Management Resource Initiative, a way for Halter ranchers with 250 or more collared head to access top grazing schools and consultants, with Halter covering up to $2,500 of the cost.

Programs like Ranching for Profit bring together ranchers for intensive, multi-day learning experiences.

You'll dive into grazing and business practices with educators who've worked with thousands of operations, and you'll leave with a toolkit of strategies plus a network of ranchers you can learn from long after the course ends.

The benefits

Better grazing

New ways to rotate cattle, extend your grazing season, and get more out of every acre. Better grass management means better cattle performance and the flexibility to run more head.

Healthier land

Soil health strategies that help you grow more grass and keep it producing year after year. Healthy land builds resilience against drought, cuts input costs, and supports your ranch long term.

Smarter decisions

Guidance on ranch economics so you can run the numbers with confidence, spot opportunities, and make smarter investment decisions.

Grow together

Beyond the initiative

The Ranch Management Resource Initiative isn't just about sending you to a course or connecting you with a consultant. It's about plugging you into expertise and a community of ranchers focusing on the same things you are.

You'll work with people who've spent their careers in grazing management and ranch economics. You'll connect with other Halter ranchers tackling similar challenges. And you'll build relationships that become resources long after the program wraps up.
