Virtual Fencing in South Australia

The SA Government has stated that new Virtual Fencing regulations will be in place by the end of 2025.

Effective December 2025, new South Australian regulations permit the use of virtual fencing and remote animal management on South Australian farms.

Halter, already proven on over 30% of Tasmania’s dairy farms since 2022, provides core features like virtual fencing, remote herding, reproductive monitoring, and pasture analytics to immediately enhance farm profitability, productivity, and sustainability for South Australian beef and dairy producers.

Say goodbye to sitting behind your cows, or shifting physical fences.
